Lake Rotoiti School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced educators for the position of Teaching Principal.
The successful applicant will lead a school with an anticipated roll of 17 students from Years 0–8 and will be supported by a full-time teacher aide (subject to Ministry staffing entitlement).
The preferred start date is 28 January 2027.

This is a rare opportunity to live and work in a stunning alpine setting. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to reside in a board-owned school house in the picturesque village of St Arnaud, located on the edge of Nelson Lakes National Park. They will enjoy teaching and leading within a supportive, engaged, and well-resourced community.
St Arnaud is situated approximately one hour from both Nelson and Blenheim and is the gateway to the northern reaches of the Southern Alps.
