Visitors to our Kura
We have had a variety of visitors for 2018. All of them exciting. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to come and visit this wonderful kura and amazing, enthusiastic learners. Included in the list - but photos not available: Nelson Hockey, Swimming, Tanya Nock and her entourage, plus the wonderful Siberian Hukies from Palmerston North.
Technology for Year 7 and 8's
This year the tamariki enjoyed the clever skills of Ed for hard tech, and for foods - a joint venture with both Janine and Jo. The Year 7 and 8's created lunches which the school bought on a Friday.
Places we have visited
We visited a variety of places to consolidate our inquiry in 2018. Our inquiry was Tangata Whenua - knowing our place. We visited Top House, The Boat Museum, The Lamborne's farm, the historic area in the hall, and had a good walk around tone looking at historic places. We also researched Rainbow ski field and many of the walks available. Adding to this was a trip to The Suter and The Museum.
