Earlier this year a Douglas Fir tree on the shore of Lake Rotoiti was poisoned and then felled before it could become a safety hazard.

The senior class used this as inspiration for creative writing and in addition Max King put his drone flying and IT skills to work creating the below video.

During the last week of Term 1, the school headed down to Hanmer for a four day camp where they had a fantastic time. Camp was packed with activities such as mini golf, mountain biking, tree climbing and team building and of course a daily trip to the pools. To cap off a fantastic camp on the last day the school went whitewater rafting with a jet boat trip back.
